New Permanent Representative of Liberia
Presents Credentials

VIENNA, 18 April (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of the Republic of Liberia, Ethel Davis, presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.

Ms. Davis has been Ambassador Designate to the Federal Republic of Germany since 2010. During her career she has served in various capacities, among them: Consultant, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Liberia) (2009-2010); Deputy Governor, Central Bank of Liberia (2006-2009); Human Resources Manager, Central Bank of Liberia (2001-2006); Alternate Executive Director and Adviser to the Executive Director, African Development Bank (Republic of Ivory Coast) (1998-2001); Assistant to the Executive Director, African Development Bank (Republic of Ivory Coast) (1995-1998); Alternate Executive Director, African Development Bank (Republic of Ivory Coast) (1992-1995); General Manager, Agricultural & Cooperative Development Bank (Liberia) (1989-1995); Manager and Assistant Manager for Administration, Agricultural & Cooperative Development Bank (Liberia) (1981-1989).

Ms. Davis holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Liberia and a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the George Washington University.
