New Permanent Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina Presents Credentials

VIENNA, 13 June (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tomislav Leko, presented his credentials today to Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) Yury Fedotov.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Leko was Ambassador to Serbia and Montenegro since 2003 and Counsellor to the Deputy Foreign Minister for Economical Affairs in 2003.

Mr. Leko has served in various capacities during his career:

He was Chief Operations Officer at Geofizika Geophysical Explorations (2009-12); President of the Management Board of Konstruktor Constructions Company (2007-09); Head of External Affairs and Public Relations at SOKO Aviation Group (2001-03); General Manager of Zagreb Airport (1995-2011); Director and General Manager of AGRARIACOOP Food and Agricultural Company (1992-94).

Mr. Leko holds a degree in Foreign Trade from the University of Zagreb. He speaks German and English.

He is married and has four children.
