Media Representatives are invited to attend the

Flag-Raising Ceremony for the Holy See

The Vienna International Centre Plaza

The flag of the Holy See is being raised at the United Nations Office at Vienna, following the adoption of a resolution in the United Nations General Assembly.

On 10 September 2015, the General Assembly decided that the flags of non-member observer States maintaining permanent observer missions at Headquarters shall be raised at Headquarters and United Nations offices following the flags of the Members States of the Organization.

Media representatives who wish to attend and who are not accredited to the VIC should write to press@unvienna.org before Thursday, 8 October, 17:00.

Photo identification will be required for entry.
