New Permanent Representative of Indiapresents credentials

VIENNA, 7 February (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations (Vienna), Renu Pall, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.

During her career Ms. Pall has served in various capacities, among them:

Joint Secretary at Headquarters, New Delhi - Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Multilateral, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Indian Ocean Rim Divisions, New Delhi (from 2010); Deputy Chief of Mission, Berlin (2009-2010); Counsellor (Political)/Minister (Political), Washington D.C. (2005-2009); Director (Americas Division/Foreign Secretary's Office), New Delhi (2002-2005); First Secretary (Political & Head of Chancery)/Counsellor (Political), Paris (1997-2002); Under Secretary (Americas Division)/ Deputy Secretary (Americas Division), New Delhi (1993-1997).

Ms. Pall holds a B.A. (Hons) in Political Science.
