New Permanent Representative of North Macedonia presents credentials

VIENNA, 26 February (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of North Macedonia to the United Nations (Vienna), Igor Djundev, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Yury Fedotov.

During his career, Mr. Djundev has served in various capacities, among them:

Director of Multilateral Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2012-2019); Ambassador at Large, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2008-2011); Ambassador, Chef de Cabinet, Office of the President of the UN General Assembly (2007-2008); Ambassador to the UN in New York (2004-2007); State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2003-2004); Assistant Minister for Multilateral Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2000-2003); Director for Political Affairs, Multilateral Affairs Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1998-2000); Counsellor (1997-1998), First Secretary (1994-1997) at the Mission to the UN in New York; Second Secretary, UN Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (1992-1994); and Attaché, Department for Economic Multilateral Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, in Belgrade (1990-1992).

He is married and has two daughters.
