 Message from the main Vienna International Centre organizations

 VIENNA, 6 October (UN Information Service) - This is a message from the four main organizations based at the Vienna International Centre (VBOs). 

The Vienna International Centre (VIC) Medical Service reported today that one person from the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV)/United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) has tested positive for SARS CoV-2. There was no workplace exposure.

The cumulative total number of people who have tested positive among personnel of the main VIC-based organizations is 73, of whom 60 work at the VIC and 50 have already recovered.

The four main VBOs are the United Nations Office at Vienna/UN Office on Drugs and Crime, the International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN Industrial Development Organization and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.
