Permanent Observer for the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf presents credentials

VIENNA, 21 September (UN Information Service) – The new Permanent Observer for the Cooperation Council of the Arab States of the Gulf to the United Nations (Vienna), Ali Abdulla Ebrahim Aljawder, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV),Ghada Waly.

During his career, Mr. Aljawder has served in various capacities, among them:

Director of International Affairs and Interpol Directorate, Ministry of the Interior; Head of the National Central Bureau, Ministry of the Interior; Director of Anti-Corruption Crimes Directorate, Ministry of the Interior; Head of Financial Intelligence Unit of General Directorate of Anti-Corruption and Economic and Cyber Security, Ministry of the Interior; Chairmen of several security committees and participation in committees specialized in combating organized crime and cybersecurity.

Mr. Aljawder holds a PhD in Policies and Practices Studies from Brunel University London, United Kingdom; a Master of Science in Management Studies and Research from Kingston University, United Kingdom; a Master of Business Administration from the University of South Wales, United Kingdom; and a Bachelor of Security Sciences from King Fahd College for Security Sciences, Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Aljawder is married.
