VIENNA, 1 February (UN Information Service) – This is a message from the four main organizations based at the Vienna International Centre (VBOs).
The Vienna International Centre (VIC) Medical Service reported today that three people who work at the VIC tested positive for SARS CoV-2.
Two people work for the UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and one person works for the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). There was no workplace exposure.
The cumulative total number of people who have tested positive among personnel of the VIC-based organizations is 224, of whom 188 work at the VIC. Of the total of 224 personnel, 205 have recovered.
The four main VBOs are the United Nations Office at Vienna/UN Office on Drugs and Crime, the International Atomic Energy Agency, the UN Industrial Development Organization and the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization.
