Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom presents credentials

VIENNA, 25 January (UN Information Service) – The Permanent Representative of the United Kingdom to the United Nations (Vienna), Lindsay Skoll, presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Ghada Waly.

During her career, Ms. Skoll has served in various capacities, among them:

Minister and Deputy Head of Mission, Moscow (2017-2020); UK Coordinator, Zika Virus Response (2016); High Commissioner to Seychelles (2012-2015); Head (Climate), Climate Change and Energy Department (2010-2012); Senior Policy Secretary to the Gulf and United Arab Emirates Initiatives, Middle East and North Africa Directorate (2010); Head, Northeast Asia Policy, Cabinet Office (2006-2007); Deputy Head of Mission, Pyongyang (2004-2006);Head, Korea and Mongolia Section, North East Asia and Pacific Directorate (2001-2002); Media Services Officer for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM), European Union Presidency and G8, Press Department (1997-1998); and Information and Visits Officer, Central and Eastern Europe, Information Department (1996-1997).

Ms. Skoll holds a Bachelor’s Degree in History with Russian from the University of Nottingham.

Ms. Skoll is married and has three children.
