Permanent Representative of France presents credentials

VIENNA, 19 September (UN Information Service) – The new Permanent Representative of France to the United Nations (Vienna), Delphine Hournau-Pouëzat, presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Ghada Waly.

Prior to her appointment, Ms. Hournau-Pouëzat was Director, Nuclear Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2019-2022). She has served as Deputy Director and political adviser, Nuclear Disarmament and Non-Proliferation Department, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and in the International Public Law Department within the Legal Affairs Directorate. Ms. Hournau-Pouëzat has had postings in London (2008-2012) and Hong Kong (2015-2018).

Ms. Hournau-Pouëzat completed her political and social sciences studies in Paris and Berlin.
