VIENNA, 20 March (UN Information Service) – The new Permanent Representative of Antigua and Barbuda to the United Nations Office at Vienna, Boris Jean P. Latour, presented his credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Ghada Waly.
During his career, Mr. Latour has served in various positions, among them:
Ambassador-designate of Antigua and Barbuda to Switzerland (2023-present); Resident Ambassador to France (2023-present); Permanent Delegate to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) (2023-present); Permanent Representative to the United Nations Office in Geneva (2022-present); Co-founder, Manager of the General Partner of Futura Capital Fund (2019-2022) and senior director at several consulting firms (2013-2019).
Mr. Latour holds a Master’s degree in management science and a Bachelor’s degree in business & economics from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management. He also holds a Master’s degree in management science from the Vrije Universiteit van Brussel.
Mr. Latour speaks Dutch, English and French.
