VIENNA, 10 October (UN Information Service) – The new Permanent Representative of the Republic of Moldova to the United Nations (Vienna), Victoria Roșa, presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Ghada Waly.
During her career, Ms. Roșa has served in various capacities among them:
National Consultant , UN Women Moldova (2020-2024); Subject Matter Expert, USAID, Integra Government Services International (2023); Senior Associated Expert, Platform for Security and Defence Initiatives, Moldova (2022-2023); Consultant on media literacy and fighting disinformation, Institute for War and Peace Reporting (2020); Security and Defence Adviser of the Prime Minister (2019); Consultant on media literacy and fighting disinformation, strategic communication and media development, Freedom House (2016-2022); Executive Director, The Foreign Policy Association of Moldova (2009-2019); Television presenter/anchor, Current affairs and political programme “Punctul pe azi”, TVR Moldova (2018-2019); Programme Coordinator, European Institute for Political Studies (2008-2013); Lecturer, Faculty of International Relations, Moldova State University (2005-2010); Programme Director, Information and Documentation Centre on NATO – Moldova (2007-2009).
Ms. Roșa holds a Master’s degree and a Bachelor’s degree in international relations from the Moldova State University in Chisinau, Moldova.
She speaks English, French, German, Romanian and Russian.
