"The United Nations in Vienna: Working for the World"

On the occasion of the "Days of Action for Political Education", the United Nations Information Service (UNIS) Vienna is hosting a Teachers' Forum on Thursday 3 May 2007 at the Vienna International Centre (VIC). This forum gives school teachers the opportunity to learn more about the activities of the United Nations programmes and specialized agencies based in the Vienna International Centre. Briefings and discussions will provide teachers with an insight into the contributions of the United Nations in Vienna to peace and security, development and human rights throughout the world. The event is being held in cooperation with the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Arts and Culture as well as with the City of Vienna.
