VIENNA, 29 August (UN Information Service) – The new Permanent Representative of Colombia to the United Nations (Vienna), Laura Gil Savastano, presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV), Ghada Waly.
Ms. Gil Savastano is also serving as Ambassador to Austria, and non-resident Ambassador to Croatia, Czechia, Slovakia and Slovenia, During her career she has served as Vice Minister of Multilateral Affairs (2022-2023). She was Stanford University’s Draper Hills Fellow 2015 and a National Endowment of Democracy Fellow 2020 and has worked for several Colombian media organizations.
