VIENNA, 7 March (UN Information Service) – Journalists are invited to cover the 67th session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs (CND) to be held from 14-22 March 2024 in Vienna, Austria.
The session will consist of two segments: a high-level segment from 14-15 March and a regular segment from 18-22 March.
The 67th session will be chaired by Ambassador Philbert Abaka Johnson, Permanent Representative of Ghana to the United Nations in Vienna.
In line with past practice, representatives of the scientific community, youth and civil society will address the Commission during the opening.

The 67th Session is expected to bring together participants from Member States, UN entities, inter-governmental organizations, civil society, and the scientific community in Vienna and online.
More than 170 side events and over 30 exhibitions will take place during the 67th session of the CND on various aspects of addressing and countering the world drug problem.
